Global Media Operations Coordinator(fixed term contract)

We are currently looking for a Global Media Operations Coordinator (QC, Audio/Video Editing), who will be responsible for day-to-day activities which support the Global Media Operations group.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform spot and linear QC on media using high resolution files and/or proxies available through cloud-based tools. Note audio tracks misalignment, mixing issues on 2.0 and 5.1 stems, M&E issues, video dropouts and artefacts, textless elements issues, metadata issues and other possible errors. 
  • Perform editorial tasks in Adobe Premiere and Avid ProTools including but not limited to importing media, splicing, aligning, applying censorship on both video and audio, edit marking, exporting media. 
  • Validate technical attributes and editorial consistency of video and audio files. 
  • Ingest exported media to file repository. Update and manage file metadata. 
  • Transcode and convert media files as needed. 
  • Monitor file processing and transfer in media asset management system and associated proprietary platforms. 
  • Coordinate the media file flow, track task progress and issues using internal trackers and Jira. 
  • Update project/order statuses in relevant systems. 
  • Communicate missing media and quality issues to Media Operations supervisors/managers and various stakeholders. 
  • Provide feedback to technical problems and perform basic troubleshooting operations. 
  • Stay current on and contribute to relevant e-mail communication. 
  • Stay current on Media Operations workflows and SOP’s. Adapt to changing environment. 
  • Handle other tasks as indicated by Media Operations supervisors/managers. 

What skills do you need?
  • Mandatory knowledge of DAW and NLE software. Hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere and/or Avid ProTools is a plus.
  • Mandatory knowledge of file codecs and containers.Mandatory knowledge of media standards conversions.
  • Hands-on experience with audio/video scopes and monitoring tools e.g. Telestream Switch.
  • Ability to operate in international and multicultural environment. Very good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
  • Mandatory ability to work remotely. Access to fast broadband internet connection is essential.
  • Mandatory ability to work in rotating shift system, including Saturdays.
  • Computer savvy; able to operate in Windows and MacOS environments, familiar with managing Outlook inbox, familiar with Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of media production, localization and supply chain operations is a plus.
  • Basic Jira knowledge is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and maintain effectiveness when faced with stressful situations and deadlines.         Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
